Position Description

Wise Camps is Hiring at Medina Elementary! Wise Camps is looking to hire a Lead Teacher and an Assistant Teacher for our After-School STEAM Enrichment Program at Medina Elementary School! We are currently hiring for both our Winter and Spring sessions, and the program runs through the end of the school year. Our STEAM Club meets on Tuesdays. Staff arrive at 2:00 p.m. for setup, students attend from 2:45–4:15 p.m., and staff should plan to be finished with cleanup by approximately 4:30 p.m. We’re looking for enthusiastic, dependable, and creative individuals who enjoy working with elementary-aged students and are excited to help kids explore science, engineering, creativity, and problem-solving through fun, hands-on STEAM activities. Our curriculum is organized into 6-week blocks, with paid curriculum training every 6 weeks so teachers are fully prepared for each new set of themes, experiments, and activities. Pay: Lead Teacher: $50/hour Assistant Teacher: $25/hour Curriculum Training: $50/hour for BOTH positions Volunteer or work experience with children is preferred!
